Picking up the catalogue is not considered checking in. Closing time is at the end of the last final or 4:00 p.m., whichever is later. JUDGING WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 9:00 AM EACH DAY. The show will be scored for ACFA Inter-American and Regional awards. Entries must remain in the Show Hall until the completion of judging. You must be present to claim Finals unless permission to leave early is obtained from the Show Manager. Ribbons will not be hung on empty cages. SHOW HOURS FOR THE PUBLIC: Advertised hours are Saturday & Sunday – 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CLOSING DATE: Registration closes on Tuesday, September 2nd, or when the 200th entry is received, whichever comes first. If you have not received your confirmation by September 3rd, please call the entry clerk to confirm that your entry was received. NOVICE EXHIBITORS: We especially encourage new exhibitors. You don’t have to own a pedigreed cat; you can show your household pet cat if it is over four months old, healthy, and well-behaved. (See HOUSEHOLD PETS below for additional requirements.) If this is your first show and you have questions, call David at (306) 634-3792 or send email to d.1@sasktel.net for help. ENTRY FEES: Please refer to the Summary Sheet for prices and other registration details. Only cash payments will be accepted at the door. RULES: The show will be conducted according to the American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA) show rules, which are available for a small fee from the ACFA Central Office, HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show; no veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. The club strongly advises that all cats and kittens be immunized against feline enteritis, calici virus, and rhinotracheitis at least three weeks prior to the show. Any animal from a cattery or house where there has been any infectious or contagious illness within 21 days prior to the show will not be allowed in the show hall. Entries must be free of fleas, ear mites, and fungus (ringworm). The show management will remove any cats that show signs of contagious illness or disease. All claws must be trimmed; if claws are not trimmed, it will be done at the show at the exhibitor's expense. LIABILITY: Neither the show management, Prairie Feline Fanciers Inc, any member of the club, nor the Estevan Curling Club will be responsible or assume any liability for any loss, damage, injury or accidents to any person, animal, or property. The club reserves the right to refuse any admission and to remove any person or animal from the show hall in the best interest of the show and exhibitors. CHILDREN: This show is for the display and competition of cats. While well-behaved children are welcome, a full day at a show can be very boring and tiring for them. If an exhibitor or spectator does bring a disruptive child to the show hall, the child will be asked to leave. There will be no refund of entry or admission fees. FOOD AND LITTER: PFF expects to be able to supply litter this year. Please bring your own food, dishes and litter pans. Out of town exhibitors are reminded that bringing their own water might be prudent. CAGES: Each entry receives a single 21"x 21"x21" single cage. If you would like to expand to a full 21"x 2I"x 45" double cage, there is an extra charge as shown on the Summary Sheet. Exhibitors are required to use cage curtains and bedding to cover the bottom, top and three sides of the cage. SALES CAGES: Sales cages are available to exhibitors only. The sale of kittens and/or cats at the Show will be governed by ACFA Show Rule XVII, Section 6, parts a. and b. Cats and/or kittens for sale must be individually entered in the Show, either for competition or exhibition. Transfer of possession of cats or kittens must be arranged to take place away from the Show Hall outside Show hours. The parking lot behind the Show Hall is considered to be part of the Show Hall. While PFF expects to be informed about each cat or kitten sold in conjunction with the Show, it declines to collect a commission on any sale. CONFIRMATIONS, LISTING FEES, TRANSFERS: Confirmations will be mailed out as entries are received. Please report any errors ASAP. Missing or unreadable information on entries will be obtained through COLLECT phone calls. Whole Cats and Alters will be charged a listing fee for EACH DAY entered unless an ACFA registration number is provided prior to 8:00 am Saturday September 13, 2008. This is a back-to-back show. Transfers must be made with the master clerk on Saturday during the show. No transfers will be accepted Sunday unless entered for Sunday only. The fee for transferring an ACFA registered cat is $6.00. Novice exhibitors: If your cat wins enough points on Saturday, you may need to make a transfer. We’re happy to help you. All championship entries should be registered at the time of the show. KITTENS: No kittens under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. Kittens in the show hall must have been born on or before May 13, 2008, for the Saturday show and May 14, 2008, for the Sunday show. HOUSEHOLD PETS: Household pets will be judged in all eight rings. They must be immunized at least three weeks prior to the show, and if they are over eight months old, they must be spayed or neutered. Although household pets may be declawed, all remaining claws must be trimmed. RIBBONS, ROSETTES, AWARDS: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded in all rings. FOOD: People food will be available in the show hall. SALES BOOTHS: A sales booth includes an 8’ table for $45.00. If it is available, you can purchase additional space without a table for $35.00. Additional tables are available at $15.00 each.
